"Your body isn't an ornament. It's the vehicle to your dreams."

In honor of Eating Disorder Awareness Week, the Student Counseling Services Office and Amy's Gift are providing a free screening of the award-winning movie "Embrace."

This film is a social impact documentary nominated for the Documentary Australia Foundation Award for Best Documentary. Its director and main character, Taryn Brumfitt, created the Body Image Movement in 2012 and released "Embrace" in 2016. In 2023, Brumfitt was named Australian of the Year in recognition of her decade-long global campaign to end the body hate epidemic and inspire people to embrace their bodies.

Attendees are also invited to participate in a discussion after the movie.
