Hispanic Film Festival: 'Campeones' (Champions)

Augustana College will sponsor its 27th annual Hispanic Film Festival on Wednesdays, Nov. 1-Dec. 6.

All films will be shown at 7 p.m. in Hanson Hall of Science, Room 102. Films are free and open to the public. Films are in Spanish with English subtitles.

Plot summary: Marco Montes is a basketball coach who works as second trainer of an important team of ACB (Spanish basketball national league), but in reality he is a man burned inside himself in his professional life as well as personal life, turning him in an arrogant and bad-mannered man. During an ACB game, a discussion with the first trainer causes an incident and he's fired out from the stadium. He is sentenced to community service, and forced to work with a team of players with mental disabilities.
