Texas Medical Center Summer Research Program info session

Juniors who are interested in applying for the Texas Medical Center Summer Research Program should attend this  informational meeting. (A second meeting will be held Nov. 8, same time and place.)

The Texas Medical Center Summer Research Program is for students completing their junior year at Augustana. This summer experience is a full-time, 10-week research internship at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. The program will be June 7-Aug. 13, 2021.

It is open to all majors. Previous students have majored in English, art, pre-vet, psychology, business administration, communication studies, education, economics, political science, graphic arts, communication sciences and disorders, philosophy, chemistry, pre-med, biology, applied mathematics and more.

The estimated cost per student is $3,500. In addition to Augie Choice and a stipend, students have access to supplemental grants, and some additional funding based on financial need.

The application deadline is Dec. 1, 2020.
