Dr. Bobby Wengronowitz, visiting assistant professor in sociology, anthropology and social welfare, will present the first lecture of this year's Frieze Lecture series, a 22-year partnership between the Rock Island Public Library and Augustana College to present four talks in the fall.

This year's theme is "Student Bill of Rights and Responsibilities," in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the assassination of one of Augustana’s most extraordinary graduates.

Dr. Wengronowitz will consider the global phenomenon that is the School Strike for Climate Action, begun by Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg.
