Augustana Historical Society celebrates release of new book

The Augustana Historical Society will celebrate the release of "An Adventure in Faith" by Dr. Bob Frank at 4 p.m. April 9 at St. James Lutheran Church, 3134 31st Ave., Rock Island.  

Swenson Center to celebrate 40th with symposium, dinner

Augustana’s Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center will host a symposium May 7 with rising scholars, an open house and dinner.

International Street Fest

International Street Fest is a celebration of all the cultures represented at Augustana. The Global Engagement Team hosts this event where students sing, dance, play musical instruments, and much more. 

Red Gala

Zeta Phi Kappa will host the Red Gala. All proceeds go to (RED) to strengthen health systems and support life-saving programs in communities where the pandemic has hit the hardest. The dress code is semi-formal.

Blue, Gold & Bold Student Celebration

Students are invited to the Brew from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Join your friends and pot a succulent, make a stuffed animal, spin a prize wheel and enjoy some cookies. 

Holi Festival

The Holi Festival is a festival of color celebrated by the Hindu tradition. It marks the arrival of spring, which also indicates fertility, love and good over evil.

'Vagina Monologues' info meeting

"The Vagina Monologues" is returning to Augustana April 22-24. This is a performance of personal monologues by Eve Ensler on topics including sexual experiences, body image, vaginal care, etc.).
