Augustana Choir Reunion, July 8-10, 2011

All Augustana College Choir alumni are invited to reconnect with friends, families and directors at a reunion July 8-10 in Naperville, Ill.

2011 is the 80th year since the choir was founded in 1931 by Dr. Henry Veld.

All of the choir’s conductors since 1966 will attend and will direct the reunion choir: Don Morrison (1966-1993), Roger Wesby (1993-1996) and Jon Hurty (1996-present). They are selecting music for the program and it will include pieces that most alumni know and love

This is an opportunity for choir members of many and differing eras to join together in celebrating the legacy of the Augustana Choir.

Registration

Registration for the reunion officially closed on May 1. You may call Augustana's Office of Parent and Alumni Relations at (800) 798-8100, ext. 7592, to be placed on a waiting list. The Planning Committee will get back to you within 24 hours. The deciding factors are available space on the risers and the quantity of music ordered.
