Incoming first-year students and their parents reveal their excitement in arriving at Augustana.

Class of 2020 launches dreams, airplanes

At the 2016 opening convocation, President Steve Bahls guides more than 700 first-year students, their parents and faculty through a ceremonial launching of dreams and aspirations — and a whole lot of paper airplanes.

fresh films

Film studio, Augustana begin partnership Non-profit Fresh Films is moving its operation on campus. The collaboration will provide opportunities for all majors, immersing students in the shooting, production and distribution process of filmmaking.

Keith Sands

Sands becomes newest Postgraduate Scholar Track champion Keith Sands has won a $7,500 NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. He is Augustana's 37th Postgraduate Scholar since 1968. He's now with the Peace Corps in Tanzania, where he will teach math.
