We were set up by friends for a school dance on January 18, 1982. The next day Jon stood on a cafeteria table and told everyone I was his girlfriend so hands off. That was news to me but it worked. We were married July 20, 1984 in Ascension Chapel and had our reception in the cafeteria where it all started.
