Augie Sweethearts: Lori Dryg '80 and Tom Dryg '82

I was pledge Mom of Delta Chi sorority and Tom was a pledge of Gamma Alpha Beta fraternity. The fraternity pledges became the sorority pledges for the day. Tom and I met and were instantly drawn to each other.

We spent the day getting to know each other and realized his fraternity had a “date party” the next day, of which we both had dates with other people. We broke those dates and went to party together. Our first date was a toga party!

We have been married 30 years and recall so fondly our Augie years!
