The Salon: the Breakdown of Civil Discourse

The Salon is a weekly gathering of students, faculty, staff, and administrators from across campus each Thursday in the Brew from 11:30am - 12:20pm. It is a time and place for discussion of interdisciplinary ideas and shared experiences; everyone is welcome to participate.

The Socratic Society (Philosophy Club)

The Socratic Society is a philosophy-based discussion group. Reading is not required, and anyone is welcome to attend either the Tuesday or Thursday session.

Homecoming: Registration and Packet Pick-Up

Registration and packet pick-up (including tickets and a campus map) for homecoming will take place from 8am-6pm in the Brunner Theatre Center (formerly the College Center). 

Registration and packet pick-up will also take place on Saturday from 8am-1pm. 

The Way We Are, and Why

Dr. Anne Boaden '67 will discuss the events of the 1960s and how being at a liberal arts college impacted students at that time. Her talk is part of the event of Homecoming weekend.

Homecoming: Golden Viking Lunch

A special celebratory luncheon will be held to welcome the reunion years of 1967, 1972, 1952 and 1947 to the Golden Vikings Club - a group of alumni who have graduated 50 or more years ago from Augustana.
