International Women's Day fair

The Office of International Students and Scholar Services hosts Augustana's first International Women's Day event. 

Schedule

Resource Fair, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Gävle Room

Strike a Pose and Take a Stance, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Gerber Fireplace. This is a a photo opportunity to #Breakthe Bias and to write a stance and post it on the window.

Women’s Words, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.,  You Belong Lounge. Open mic and stage.   

Workshop: The Difference You Make: A Conversation with a Holocaust Survivor, 2:00 p.m. in Gävle and You Belong Lounge. This is a virtual conversation with a Holocaust survivor and author Dr. Irene Butter

Workshop: Healthy Relationships and Sexual Assault, 4 p.m. in the Gävle Room, (Augie Students only), led by Cassandra Hall. The workshop will cover an overall education on the healthy and unhealthy characteristics in relationships and sexuality. Also covered will be domestic abuse, sexual assault, consent and rape culture. This training will give participants the education necessary to acknowledge red flags and to distinguish between what is and isn’t healthy.
