Commencement Convocation

Augustana College will hold its 157th Commencement Convocation.

Dr. Al Bowman '75 will deliver the Commencement address. Bowman earned a master's degree in speech-language pathology, and a doctorate in speech and hearing science.

He joined the faculty at Illinois State University in 1978, and after serving as department chair and provost, was named president in 2003. Bowman led the university until his retirement in 2012.

No tickets are required for the ceremony. The iWireless Center has sufficient seating capacity for commencement and is handicapped accessible. Graduating seniors or family members with seating or accessibility concerns are encouraged to check the iWireless Center for details.

The ceremony will be live-streamed and archived on the college's YouTube channel.

Commencement will be preceded by several other events: Senior Honors Convocation, Baccalaureate, the Presiden'ts Brunch and faculty receptions.
