2011-12 Season - Nagelberg 40th nationally in goals per game

Augustana freshman attacker Jesse Nagelberg ranks 40th in the nation with an average of 2.73 goals per game.

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -The latest NCAA Division III lacrosse statistics report has been released and freshman attacker Jesse Nagelberg (St. Charles East HS, St. Charles, Ill.) ranks 40th in the nation with an average of 2.73 goals per game. Freshman goalkeeper Cody Burgdorff (Peat to Peak HS, Lafayette, Colo.) and the Augustana defense as a whole, continue to rank among the nation's leaders as well.

With an average of 4.64 goals allowed per game, the Vikings are tied with Cabrini for second in scoring defense and trail only 13-0 Salisbury (4.46 per game), the nation's top-ranked team.

Burgdorff ranks eighth in goals-against average at 5.56. He's allowed 51 goals in 550 minutes of action this season. With 88 saves, his save percentage is .633, which is 15th in the nation.

Coach Kyle Hart's team is currently 7-4 in its first season of varsity competition. The Vikings are next in action against Alma in Alma, Michigan on Sunday, April 15. The opening faceoff scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
