Orientation & Registration for Transfer Students
Starting in late April, new students will begin receiving Orientation & Registration packets from the Augustana Office of Admissions.
Transfer Orientation & Registration, an event especially for new transfer students, will be held on Thursday, June 4. Incoming transfer students will have the opportunity to register for fall classes and make some basic preparations for their fall arrival, while parents will attend sessions informing them about the academic, social, and financial policies and opportunities at Augustana.
To get started, you'll need to take two placement tests and complete a student survey. Directions are available on the Preparing for Orientation & Registration page.
Once you have completed these steps, you'll receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org within one week. It will include a link where you can register for the June 4 event. If you can't attend on June 4, you have the option of attending August Orientation & Registration on August 19, just before the start of the fall term.
Be sure to complete the housing selection process (if you plan to live on campus), turn in your Immunization form and Special Accommodations form (if applicable) by June 20, and request your final transcripts from your previous institution be sent to Augustana by July 1.
