DESCRIPTION:Augustana College will celebrate the inauguration of its ninth president\, Andrea Talentino\, on Oct. 14-15.\n\nAs part of the inauguration celebration\, academic sessions on a variety of topics will be presented.\n\nIn this session\, presenters will discuss why and how Augustana has redefined what it means to be Lutheran over the past several decades\, and how its institutional vocation and core values (or “faith commitments”) continue to lead it&nbsp\; to “do justice\, love mercy\, and walk humbly with God” (Micah 6:8).\n\nPresenters will be Dr. Jason Mahn\, director\, Presidential Center for Faith and Learning\; and&nbsp\;Dr. Monica M. Smith\, vice president for diversity\, equity and inclusion.\n\nAll academic sessions will be offered in Wallenberg Hall\, Denkmann Memorial Building\; see a complete description of&nbsp\;topics and presenters.\n
