DESCRIPTION:Opera Quad Cities will hold its inaugural gala dinner and a program by local performers&nbsp\;including Augustana's Shelley Cooper\, soprano.\n\nThe program also will feature&nbsp\;mezzo-soprano Kelly Hill\, tenor Eric Ashcraft and bass-baritone Saul Nache.\n\nOpera Quad Cities is a nonprofit&nbsp\;supporting opera and related programs in the community. Partners in the group are Augustana College\, St. Ambrose University and Genesius Guild. Last year&nbsp\;the group produced Mozart's “The Marriage of Figaro.”\n\nIn June\, they will stage&nbsp\;Gilbert &amp\; Sullivan's operetta “The Pirates of Penzance.”&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n
