DESCRIPTION:Symposium Day is an alternative day of learning that includes presentations by faculty\, students\, staff\, alumni and invited speakers.&nbsp\;\n\nProgramming will include three concurrent sessions from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.&nbsp\;The afternoon will be reserved for learning through the advising relationship. (See the complete schedule.)\n\nIn addition to programs led by individuals across campus\, there will be&nbsp\; featured speakers: Dr. Rebecca Ginsburg\, director of the&nbsp\;Education Justice Project\, University of Illinois\;&nbsp\;Dr. Scott Warren\, a cultural geographer from Ajo\, Ariz.\;&nbsp\;Lizeth Tamayo ’16\, a doctoral student in genetic epidemiology\, University of Chicago\; and&nbsp\;Fury Young\, BL Shirelle and Maxwell Melvins of Die&nbsp\;Jim Crow.\n\n&nbsp\;\n
