DESCRIPTION:Baritone Stephen Swanson and pianist Ann DuHamel will perform "Winterreise" (Winter Journey)\, a song cycle for voice and piano by Franz Schubert.\n\nSwanson is a concert and opera singer\, a teacher of singing\, and opera stage director. He earned degrees from North Park College and Northwestern University. In 1994 he joined the voice faculty at the University of Iowa and has since become an active recitalist.&nbsp\;\n\nDuHamel is an assistant professor at Iowa. She has a DMA from Iowa in piano performance and pedagogy\, a master's from the University of Notre Dame and B.A. from the&nbsp\;College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University.&nbsp\;\n
