DESCRIPTION:The Women's &amp\; Gender Studies Tea Talks series features speakers on a range of topics. Today's presentation\, "Shoot like a lady: How gender stereotypes affect the role of sports photojournalists\," is by&nbsp\;Dr. Carolyn Yaschur\,&nbsp\;assistant professor of multimedia journalism and mass communication.\n\nPhotojournalism is historically a male-dominated field\, and women represent&nbsp\;less than a third of photojournalists. Sports photojournalism is even less gender balanced. Using in-depth interviews of eight photojournalists\, Dr. Yaschur's research examines the difference gender makes in this field.\n
