This plan is administered by UMR. Costs for the 2016-17 academic year is as follows:
Full-time Employees - Wellness
- Single Coverage: $100 per month
- Employee +1: $475 per month
- Family: $650 per month
Full-time Employees - Non-Wellness
- Single Coverage: $200 per month
- Employee +1: $675 per month
- Family: $850 per month
- Single Coverage: $67.50
- Employee +1: $349
- Family: $480
This per month cost is for full-time employees who are paid on a 12 month basis. Those employees who are paid on a 10-month basis will have slightly higher per month costs with the annual contribution remaining the same regardless of pay schedule.
Health insurance is offered to those employees regularly scheduled to work at least 30-hours per week on either a 9, 10, 11 or 12 month basis. Faculty members who teach 18 credit hours or more per year are considered full-time. New employees are eligible on the first of the month following their hire date.
