I grew up in northeast Missouri. I graduated in 2006 with a degree in Athletic Training from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO. From there, I went on to get my Master's in Education from Central Methodist University in 2008. I spent the next 3 years working at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS as an assistant athletic trainer/head women's athletic trainer. After much consideration, I moved to Salt Lake City, UT and worked for Utah Valley University; a small D-I university in Orem, UT. I was the head athletic trainer for the women's basketball program. Then after about a year, I moved to Iowa City, IA with my husband, Chris Polizzi and worked for 6 months as a PT Aide at Progressive Rehabilitation as well as an athletic trainer for St. Luke's, out of Cedar Rapids, IA. Then in March of 2013, I began working for Augustana College as an assistant athletic trainer. I am the athletic trainer for men and women's XC, Track, and Tennis.
I enjoy being outdoors and scrapbooking, as well as supporting my husband at his football games.
