2014 Spring Term in Amsterdam
Spend spring in the city of tulips, canals, Van Gogh and Anne Frank.
The Amsterdam Program is not scheduled for the upcoming academic year.
Amsterdam Term offers students the chance to live the life of a thriving, progressive and cosmopolitan European city. Students will live in the heart of the city, rent bicylcles as their mass transit, take classes with both Augie faculty and local experts, and explore a city that defines and redefines itself almost daily.
Program dates: March-May 2014
Cost: $17,000 in 2014. Cost includes Tuition, Ground Transportation, Room, Excursions, Insurance. Not included: Airfare, food, discretionary spending.
Financial Aid: Students participating in the 2017 program will be eligible for the same grants, scholarships and loan eligibility while abroad as they would be for this trimester on campus. When billed for the program each student will receive a detailed billing statement which reduces the cost of the program in accordance with the student's anticipated financial assistance.
The 2017 program is Augie Choice eligible for all students who have completed 3 terms or 30 credits (sophomore status) or higher at the time of departure. Transfer students who have also completed 3 terms or 30 credits at Augustana are also eligible for the Augie Choice grant.

Academics: Students enroll in 3 courses and a 1-credit cultural seminar.
This program is a Learning Community designated program.

Sociology 206: Contemporary Social Issues (PS)
Women's & Gender Studies 303: Gender & Sexuality (PH)
Economics 362: International Finance, offered with a focus on the Euro & the European Crisis.
ISS Seminar: 1 credit course required for all students
This program is open only to full-time Augustana students.
Funds from Augie Choice are available for this program to any student with Junior status (60 credits or more) at the time of the program departure.
