National Character and Leadership Symposium

About NCLS

"NCLS helped me to explore, understand, and
challenge my ideas about character, integrity,
and leadership."

The National Character and Leadership Symposium (NCLS) is a symposium of 200 undergraduate students from colleges anduniversities around the world. Attendees live with cadets at the United States Air Force Academy, and they have the ability to network with leaders in many different institutions and industries. It is an incredible opportunity to learn about character, leadership, integrity along with hearing from speakers that engage students in these topics.

This event is sponsored by the United States Air Force Academy, and it takes place at the USAFA located north of Colorado Springs, CO. NCLS will take place from February 24-27, 2016, during Augustana's spring break.

How to Particpate

Students must be recommended by a faculty member (students CANNOT sign up for this event on their own). After a student is recommended, s/he has to write an essay to be accepted into the program. Only 4 students per school are allowed to participate.
