Capital Projects
Authentically Augustana: A Call to Action seeks $30 million toward four capital projects:
- Build a new residence hall to house additional students as we continue to meet our enrollment goals, to build a sense of community among residents, and to support the transitional living goals of Augustana's residential life program.
- Convert Carlsson Hall to an outstanding academic facility for the departments of accounting, business administration, economics, education and psychology—bringing those departments nearer to the college's academic center and enriching the interdisciplinary learning environment on campus.
- Construct a Center for Student Life to foster student leadership and daily life outside the classroom.
- Restore Old Main to preserve the building that best symbolizes Augustana's history and tradition, and to modernize its instructional environments.
