First Year Camp Out
We invite first year students to meet new friends and learn about Campus Ministries at the First Year Camp Out from August 24-25th, 2012. Located at Loud Thunder Forest Preserve (a half hour bus ride from campus), our leadership team brings tents, sleeping bags and fun for a weekend getaway one of the first weekends at Augustana. In addition to camping, canoeing, singing and s'mores, many students have found that the First Year Camp Out helped to jump start their experience at Augustana. Ryan Schone '11 states, "Campus Ministries at Augustana has allowed me to continue to grow in my faith in Christ while establishing many new lasting relationships with fellow believers at Augustana".
