2009 Season - Augustana women’s track and field team ranked 11th nationally in the final USTFCCCA poll

NEW ORLEANS, Ill. Behind Midwest Region Track Athlete of the Year Ted McMillan and the guidance of National Coach of the Year Paul Olsen, the 2008 Augustana men’s track & field team finished the season ranked first in the nation by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Fred Whiteside’s Augustana women’s team also had an outstanding season, finishing 11th in the final USTFCCCA rankings.
