Religion
At Augustana College you engage in conversations about religious meanings, practices and beliefs as well as questions of existence and values as expressed in diverse traditions. You study religion from academic and critical perspectives that integrate views of both insiders and outsider. You participate in a distinctively multi-disciplinary approach that is foundational to pursuing further studies in any discipline and to living a life that makes a difference. The religion department offers a wide range of courses dealing with:

- Social and cultural analysis

- Ethnic and racial identity formation

Courses in the religion department contribute to majors, minors and concentrations not only in Religion but also in African-American Studies, Anthropology, Asian Studies, Business Administration, Church Music, Classics, Education, Medieval and Renaissance Studies, Medicine, Women's and Gender Studies.
