Leadership Development
About EMERGE
Emerge is Augustana's premier leadership and development experience for new students. It is designed to assist you in becoming an influential leader, to encourage you to identify and utilize your personal strengths, and to help you learn more about campus life. This fast paced training program teaches everything from understanding yourself and others to develop good communication skills that will help you reach your leadership goals at Augustana and beyond.
EMERGE is a must for future campus leaders. Currently, most student leaders on campus were participants of the program in their first year at Augustana. By participating, you can connect with them, find out information about different organizations on campus, and possibly get on track to becoming an organizational leader in the future.
The Program

Peer Groups of 8-12 participants with an upperclassman leader
Each participant will help with a community service day project in the Quad Cities
Attendance required for participants who wish to complete the program
Students receive a Certificate of Leadership from OSA upon the completion of program
