Multicultural Programming Board

Multicultural Programming Board (MPB) works to engage the campus in culturally diverse experiences by hosting social and educational events. MPB sponsors lectures, films, dances, parties and other activities. If you are interested in learning more about MPB, contact this year's executive directors, Jennifer Rubio and Xochitl Lopez.

Lectures and Leadership Committee

This committee assesses students' interest and strives to bring representatives from Latino, Asian and African-American heritages to address the campus community. If you are interested in learning more, contact Vanessa Miranda.

Special Events Committee

This committee brings comedians, theater companies, musical groups, storytellers and other performers who's shows often times address multicultural issues. If you are intersted in learning more, contact Eduardo Alvarez.

Dances and Parties Committee

This committee plans events for cultural holidays, including theme parties, formal parties and dances with live bands. It also celebrates a variety of cultural perspectives. If you are interested in learning more, contact Natalie Villalobos or Samuel Payan.

Campus Outreach Committee

This committee assesses the interests of on-campus and off-campus organizations to co-sponsor programs and activities that help foster understanding of diverse cultures within the community. If you are interested in learning more, contact Pheng Xoing or Vivian Mei.

Film Committee

This committee chooses cultural films that educate and entertain students in a social setting. If you are interested in learning more, contact William Hatchet or Rodolfo DeJesus.
