Augustana Alumni Board Departmental Assistantship Awards

Alumni Boards Awards can offset research costs such as materials and travel expenses and for student stipend support. Typically, two to three $400 awards per year are granted to student/faculty research teams. Applications should be received by the last work day of April. Awards are made in May.


Student Summer Research Fellowships

Contact: Jeff Abernathy, Academic Affairs Office

For summer research projects, a maximum of $2,800 for compensation will be available, and an additional expense budget of approximately $250. A hard copy of the application is due January 31, 2008 in the Academic Affairs Office in Founders Hall; announcements of fellowships will be made late in winter term.

Augustana Research Foundation

The Augustana Research Foundation promotes, underwrites and administers research projects involving both professors and students. Current research includes major projects funded by the National Science Foundation, Argonne National Laboratories and the American Heart Association.
