Survey results in remodeling of Erickson space

A remodeling of the basement of Erickson Residence Hall is nearly complete, with new carpet, fixtures, a study area, TV grouping and kitchen. Over the summer, the Office of Residential Life surveyed students and asked how they would like to use the space. The final product is a compilation of all the student requests to create a space that promotes social and academic integration, said Christina Lorge-Grover, assistant dean and director of residential life. "I think the space is more welcoming to our students then previously," she said.
