Football Alumni & Friends Outing set for September 7

Prior to the opening game at Lindberg Stadium (Knowlton Outdoor Athletic Complex) on September 7, the third annual Augustana Football Alumni & Friends Golf Outing will take place at Short Hills Country Club in East Moline, Illinois. There will be a registration period between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. and golf will get underway at 11:00 a.m.

Prior to the opening of the 2013 football season and the inaugural game at Lindberg Stadium (Knowlton Outdoor Athletic Complex), alumni and friends are invited to participate in the third annual Augustana Football Alumni & Friends golf outing. The event will be on Saturday, September 7 at Short Hills Country Club in East Moline, Illinois.

There will be a registration period from 9:30-11:00 a.m. with the driving range and putting green open at this time. The golf will start at 11:00 a.m. with a shotgun start and awards will be presented at 4:00 p.m. The kickoff for the season-opening football game against Mount St. Joseph is set for 6:15 p.m.

There are opportunities for sponsorships as well. Hole signage/company advertisement ($200.00), prize sponsorship ($500.00), participant gift sponsor ($500.00) and lunch sponsorship ($1,000.00) are some of those opportunities.
