Elizabeth Caswell was named the Oregon Young Mother of the Year 2013 by the American Mothers organization.

Terri Potter was promoted to assistant vice president for student affairs at Plymouth State University, Plymouth, N.H.

1991

Pat Ambrose, Stevenson High School basketball coach, and Tony Lavarato Jr. ’95, Maine South High School basketball coach, were named Illinois Prep Bulls-eye’s Class 4A Co-Coaches of the Year.

Keith Manbeck was promoted to vice president and global chief financial officer for Nike’s Direct to Consumer division.

1992

John Allemeier wrote the original music for Deep Water: The Murder Ballads, a dance-theater work that premiered at the Knight Theater at the Blumenthal Center for Performing Arts, Charlotte, N.C. The performance consists of three 20-minute works, each based on a different North Carolina murder ballad.

Mark Burnette wrote and directed Ms. Elle: A Musical Comedy, an adaptation of Aristophane’s classic comedy Lysistrata. He is assistant professor and director of theatre at Albany (Ga.) State University.

Melinda Pavek serves as deputy chief of mission for the U.S. Embassy Bandar Seri Begawan in Brunei, which is located on the island of Borneo.

Jennifer Putzi co-edited The Selected Letters of Elizabeth Stoddard, which was published by the University of Iowa Press.

Michael Ricaurte is director of executive and international compensation at Fiserv, Inc., Brookfield, Wis.

Vanessa Mancuso Schmitt is director of special education and special programs at Proviso Township High Schools District 209, Forest Park, Ill.

Kevin Waden is vice president corporate finance at Exelon, Chicago.

Holly Houtakker Chance is executive vice president of Hitters 360 Baseball in Sarasota, Fla.

Dan Henning had a daughter, Faith Evelyn, on Sept. 7, 2012 (Sara).

John Reimers and Michelle Johnson ’96 were married on May 11, 2013.

1995

Jennifer Horwath Burnham received the 2013 G.K. Gilbert Award for Excellence in Geomorphological Research from the Association of American Geographers.

Aalok Kacha is an assistant professor at the University of Chicago.
