Members of Augustana's Black Student Union will present a 20-minute play. The play illustrates the story of slaves' use of the Big Dipper (known as the drinking gourd) to locate the North Star which would lead them north to freedom along the Underground Railroad.

The Vagina Monologues has been translated into more than 45 languages and performed in more than 130 countries. Ensler also created V-Day, a global movement to stop violence against women and girls. Through V-Day campaigns, local volunteers and college students produce annual benefit performances.
