Environmental scholar delivers symposium keynote

Molly Steinwald, director of science education and research at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Pittsburgh, shared first-hand experience of sustainability with Augustana students during Winter Symposium Day. Much of her address walked the audience through the construction of Phipps' Center for Sustainable Landscapes, a building that earned LEED Platinum certification.
