Strategic Plan

Our strategic plan, Authentically Augustana: A Plan for a Premier Liberal Arts College, outlines what we need to do to strengthen our academic program and become recognized as one of the nation's premier liberal arts colleges. It is the first grassroots plan in the college's history - the result of thousands of comments received from students, faculty, staff and alumni.

The plan honors our traditions as a college of liberal arts and sciences, while supporting broad innovations in student learning. But an education at Augustana is not simply about learning - it is about students developing values that will guide their lives.

Six strategic goals are at the heart of our plan. Reaching these goals will be challenging, but so worth it - for all of us in the Augustana family and for those who choose the Augustana experience in years to come.
