Office of the General Counsel

The Office of the General Counsel manages all aspects of the college's legal needs. This includes:

• Providing legal counsel to the college
• Drafting and reviewing contracts
• Assisting in the investigation and resolution of alleged policy violations
• Reviewing and modifying policies and procedures to minimize legal risk
• Handling litigation filed against the college
• Advising on employment-related matters

The Office of the General Counsel cannot provide legal counsel for personal matters. If you need an attorney for a personal matter, you may contact the Illinois State Bar Association attorney referral service. The general counsel's office is in Founders Hall, Suite 112.
