Vikings reappear at 14th in NSCAA poll

Seniors Kirsten Boesen (22) and Taylor Moesle (8) have been keys to Augustana's CCIW-championship season. The 15-3 Vikings are ranked 14th in this week's NSCAA/Continental Tire Division III poll.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - After defeating 14th-ranked Wheaton 1-0 on the road last week and then winning 3-2 at Elmhurst to wrap up a perfect 7-0-0 CCIW campaign, coach Scott Mejia's Augustana soccer team jumped back into this week's NSCAA/Continental Tire Division III poll at number 14. The Vikings, now 15-3, host North Central in a CCIW Tournament semifinal tonight (October 31) at Thorson-Lucken Field at 7:00 p.m.

Messiah (16-1-1) topped the poll followed by Hardin-Simmons (15-0-1) and Virginia Wesleyan (18-0-1). Wheaton, the only other CCIW team in the rankings, dropped to 22nd.
