Illusionist Craig Karges to perform at Augustana

Illusionist and magician Craig Karges will combine the art of magic with the science of psychology and the power of intuition during his show on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 8 p.m. in Wallenberg Hall inside the Denkmann Memorial Building (3520 7th Ave.).

Karges promises to make tables float, read minds, bend metal and challenge the imagination of all of those in the audience. He tours nationwide and was named Entertainer of the Year six times by the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA).

With more 4,000 appearances to his credit, Karges has been featured on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Larry King Live,” E! Entertainment Television and CNBC. He has written three books, one focusing on how to unlock the natural powers of your mind, one fiction novel and one featuring short stories that Karges has gathered from his travels.
