The Quad City Botanical Center is a private, non-profit organization that strives to foster an appreciation of our natural world through educational programs, display gardens, and special events. Nearly 10,000 people visit the Center each year for school field trips, adult group tours, and family workshops. We rely on dedicated and talented volunteers. Volunteers are needed in the departments of Education, Horticulture, Tourism & Recreation, Public Relations, and Office Management.

Natural Area Guardians is a group of individuals who share a common interest in and commitment to the environment. We are seeking volunteers to help with site preparation and fireline construction for the burn season. We also seek volunteers to help with restoring the Black Hawk State Historic Site Nature Preserve and timber in Milan, IL at Collinson-Joshua Lindahl, a site owned by Augustana College
