About Augustana lacrosse
In early 2010, Augustana College enacted a plan to add men's and women's Division III lacrosse to an athletics program with an enviable record of national championships and Academic All-Americans.
At the mid-point in their first season of play, the Vikings lacrosse athletes are proving to be among the best in NCAA Division III competition. First-year attacker Hilary Kargyl is currently the No. 1 goal-scorer, with 66 goals. The men's team boasts the No. 3-ranked scoring defense, and first-year goalie Cody Burgdoff ranks 10th in goals-against average.
