2011-12 Season - Vikings now 18th in NCAA Division III

Despite a thrilling 74-73 overtime win at Carthage last Saturday night, February 18, Augustana dropped one notch in the latest NCAA Division III men’s basketball poll, which is conducted by D3hoops.com. The Vikings moved to 19-5 on the season but dropped from 17 th to 18 th in the most recent rankings.
The Vikings had 189 points last week and were 17 th and have 186 points now. Augustana has now been ranked in the top 25 of the D3hoops.com national poll for 27 straight weeks, dating back to the first week of the 2010-11 season.
Head coach Grey Giovanine’s team will close out the regular season with a game at Wheaton on Tuesday, February 21 and then will head to Naperville, Illinois for the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin tournament on Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25.
