Internship Information- Delivered Directly to the Classroom
Organizations expect to increase internship hiring by approximately 7% this year. Those organizations reported that they will draw approximately 40% of their new college hires from their internship program.

The Internship Office is currently scheduling 10-15 minute classroom presentations to raise awareness of internship resources and increase student participation in internship opportunities. Please contact Erin Leifker, Internship Advisor, 794-7339 if you are interested in scheduling a brief presentation, at the beginning or end of class, for your students. Internships are great opportunities and we want to see Augustana students benefit from an experience!
In addition, if you have classes you are planning to cancel please let us know, we would be happy to use the time to present or tailor a presentation to the needs of your students.

This year, we in Career Development have reviewed and updated our offering of career assessment tools. FOCUS is gone, but we have a great set of new tools for a diverse set of student needs. We' love to talk with any student who falls in the "I think I know, but I'm not sure" category or even the "I have so many options but have no clue how to decide" category.
