Greetings from the Center for Teaching & Learning.
It's finals week already! I hope the term has ended well for you.
I find that during finals week, while I am not less busy, I do seem to have a bit more flexibility in my schedule to pursue things that I've wanted to for a while; I hope that is the same for you. If so, I have some great opportunities for you!
On Monday 13 Feb from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. in Olin 305 Dara Wegman-Geedey will present
10 Ways to Actively Engage Your Students: the Abridged Version
On Tuesday 14 Feb from 12:00-2:00 p.m. in Hanson Science 103, Stephanie Fuhr, Kristin Douglas and Rebecca Cook will present
Reflection in the Classroom
On Wednesday 15 Feb at 2:00 & Thursday 16 Feb at 10:00, both in the Evald Great Hall, we'll be discussing chapters 3 & 4 of Ken Bain's
What the Best College Teachers Do.
Please join us for any/all of these events. (There will be snacks!)
If there is anything that the Center for Teaching & Learning can provide you with to make your spring term more successful and rewarding, now or in the future, I hope you'll let me know.
