2011 survey of Augustana graduates from the classes of 1996-2011
Alumni give the college high marks for relevancy and value
Kent Barnds, vice president for enrollment, communication and planning, offers a brief overview of the recently completed survey of alumni from the classes of 1996-2010.
Key Findings:
- Augustana graduates believe their experience directly contributed to the development of several essential career skills including critical thinking (93%), problem solving (89%), reasoning (89%) and effective writing (86%)
- 86% reported that their Augustana experience contributed greatly to their personal happiness
- 69% felt they were better prepared than their fellow students at the start of graduate school
- 48% earned a master's degree, 11% a Ph.D. 8% an M.D.
