Augustana Stadium/Ericson Field

Augustana Stadium houses our nine-lane, all-weather track and Ericson Field, home to our football and soccer teams. In addition to various outdoor track and field facilities, this complex includes our softball field, a practice field and 10 outdoor asphalt tennis courts. The complex is located along 5th Avenue.

Carver PE Center

The Carver Physical Education Center is is used for intercollegiate basketball, volleyball, wrestling and swimming, as well as for most of Augustana's physical education classes. The field house holds 3,300 fans and the pool area seats approximately 800 fans. Named after Roy J. Carver, whose generous gift made its completion possible, the center also houses the physical education faculty, coaches and athletic directors offices. This building is located near Ericson Field between 5th and 7th Avenues.

PepsiCo Recreation Center

Augustana College recognizes the importance of recreational activity for all of the campus community and made a commitment to the community's needs with the construction of the PepsiCo Recreation Center. A $1 million gift from the PepsiCo Foundation helped Augustana construct this building, which features 40,000 square feet of gymnasium floor encircled by an 8-lane, 200-meter track. The center also houses:

• Three regulation basketball courts (one also accomodates tennis)
• Two racquetball courts
• Four volleyball courts
• Men's and women's locker rooms
• A lounge
• 1,600-square-foot weight room
• Cardiovascular equipment
• Training room

Swanson Stadium/Brunner Field

Thanks to support from Kim and Donna Brunner and Duane and Cookie Swanson, Brunner Field in the Duane R. Swanson Stadium was completed in March 2004. The stadium features:

• Seating for 300
• Berm seating for an additional 250
• Practice infield
• Two batting cages
• Team clubhouse
• Concessions stand
• Inning-by-inning scoreboard
• Press box
• State-of-the-art playing surface
