Mwenda Ntarangwi: Fellowship Report
"This fellowship report is a culmination of many hours of consultation with colleagues, reading and perusing through numerous books, journal articles, and websites on the topic of service-learning. My past experience in experiential learning while working for St. Lawrence University came in handy as I was preparing for and engaging in the work entailed in the fellowship that led to this project. Since the fellowship was intended to meet certain goals I had set forth in my initial proposal, I have taken liberty to extend them by suggesting many facets of what I consider to be the ideal context for service learning at Augustana College."
Christie Tibbetts: Service Learning Tool-Kit
As part of her internship in the Center for Vocational Reflection, Christie Tibbetts created a Service-Learning Tool-Kit. The kit is a practical resource for Augustana faculty on the best practices in service learning. It includes service-learning syllabi for faculty from a wide range of disciplines, information on funding, and information about service-learning at Augustana.
