2011-12 Season - Assistant coaches
Abby Bangser joined the Augustana staff as the goalkeeper's coach prior to the Vikings' first season in the 2011-12 school year. A native of West Hartford, Connecticut, Bangser was a three-year all-state and two-year all-American selection in high school. She was the Connecticut "Player of the Year" in 2004. She continued her career in college, performing for Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois where she helped the Wildcats win three NCAA Division I national titles. Since graduating in 2008, she was instrumental in helping the growth of youth lacrosse in the Chicago area as the goalie coach and varsity assistant at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois. She also worked with club teams in the area.
Randall Haeflinger is a 2006 graduate of Augustana with degrees in business administration, computer science and math. He was a driving force in the early days of the women's club lacrosse program at Augustana, coaching it for seven years before joining Sara Tisdale's staff in time for the first varsity lacrosse season in 2011-12. Haeflinger is currently employed as an information technology analyst at Deere and Company.
