Spring Term in Amsterdam (Spring 2014)
Spend spring in the city of tulips, canals, Van Gogh and Anne Frank.

Amsterdam Term offers students the chance to live the life of a thriving, progressive and cosmopolitan European city. Students will live in apartments, take classes with both Augie faculty and local experts, and explore a city that defines and redefines itself almost daily.
Program dates: March-May 2014
Cost: $17,500 (Tentative and variable depending upon enrollment numbers), approximately $3,000 more than on campus costs. Cost includes Tuition, Ground Transportation, Room, Excursions, Insurance. Not included: Airfare, food, discretionary spending

Academics: Students enroll in 3 courses and a 1-credit cultural seminar. This program is a Learning Community designated program .Courses include:
Business 307: Social Issues in Management (G) (Required course for all students)
Art History 375: Dutch Art and Identity (PP, G)
Political Science 375: Topics in Political Science (The politics of immigration in the Netherlands), (PS)
Sociology 206: Contemporary Social Issues (PS)
ISS Seminar: 1 credit course required for all students
This program is open only to full-time Augustana students. Funds from Augie Choice are available for this program to any student with Junior status (60 credits or more) at the time of the program departure.
