Through the Augie Choice program, Augustana students may receive up to $2,000 to defray non-tuition costs of international study, internships and research during their junior or senior year. Dr. Mel Peterson ’53 remembered for his dedication

Described by one colleague as a “gift to the campus,” Dr. Mel Peterson ’53, chemistry professor from 1958-1998 and former director of the John Deere Planetarium, passed away July 16 in Berlin, Germany, after attending the Kiwanis International Convention in Geneva.
